{Week 20}
{Week 19}
Unhappy
While I still take plenty of pictures of Ethan, I feel like I’ve slacked off a bit. Today I was playing with him on the floor and trying to teach him to roll over. He was so happy so I decided to grab my camera and take a few shots of his smiles. I got just a few before he gave me this face, so I promptly put my camera down and started playing with him again. While I prefer a happy boy to an unhappy one, I have to say that this picture makes me smile! Thankfully his smiles returned once the big black box was put away. I guess that’s why I don’t take many pictures of him right now! 😉
{Week 18}
Sigh
I walked into the playroom last week to find that the girls had decorated the table. While I wanted to be upset because they had wasted a ton of tape and paper, I couldn’t help but stop myself and think that one day I will walk into a room and find it just as I left it hours or days or weeks before. I know that’s coming too soon. So instead of being upset I sighed and asked the girls if we could take it down Monday, four days later. It’s now Thursday and it’s still up. I guess it’s grown on me, and so it’ll stay…for a little bit longer.
{Week 17}
Popular
Right now Ethan is very popular amongst the ladies, if the ladies are his two sisters and their friends. The girls each had a friend over last week and they were all fawning over Ethan. He loved it. It will be interesting to see if ten years from now the girls will still give him attention (they won’t) and if he will still like it (he will). 🙂

{Week 15}
Snack Picnic
The girls wanted to have their snacks while watching a show one day, so I said we’ve have a snack picnic. I cut up apples and put them in bowls along with some pretzels and cheese sticks. It was certainly a little feast, although from the looks of this picture they were much more interested in the TV!

{Week 11}
Shhh….
Ethan sleeps best when he’s held, something I am happy to do. Sometimes I will put him in his carseat so that while he naps I can do the dishes or some other housework, but there are times when I just want to hold him and watch him sleep. Of course one day the girls were fighting and I had to deal with that, so while I was talking to the girls I put E down on the couch. I never put him on his stomach, but he looked so comfy in that position. I dealt with the girls and then sat and watched my sleeping boy. I would’ve picked him up but I was too afraid I’d wake him! And you know what they say, never wake a sleeping baby!
