{Week 20}

May 29, 2012

We pulled out Ethan’s baby swing and now all three kiddos can swing together.  This makes for three happy, swingin’ kids!

{Week 19}

May 17, 2012

While I still take plenty of pictures of Ethan, I feel like I’ve slacked off a bit.  Today I was playing with him on the floor and trying to teach him to roll over.  He was so happy so I decided to grab my camera and take a few shots of his smiles.  I got just a few before he gave me this face, so I promptly put my camera down and started playing with him again.  While I prefer a happy boy to an unhappy one, I have to say that this picture makes me smile!  Thankfully his smiles returned once the big black box was put away.  I guess that’s why I don’t take many pictures of him right now!  😉

{Week 18}

May 10, 2012

I walked into the playroom last week to find that the girls had decorated the table.  While I wanted to be upset because they had wasted a ton of tape and paper, I couldn’t help but stop myself and think that one day I will walk into a room and find it just as I left it hours or days or weeks before.  I know that’s coming too soon.  So instead of being upset I sighed and asked the girls if we could take it down Monday, four days later.  It’s now Thursday and it’s still up.  I guess it’s grown on me, and so it’ll stay…for a little bit longer.

{Week 17}

May 4, 2012

Right now Ethan is very popular amongst the ladies, if the ladies are his two sisters and their friends.  The girls each had a friend over last week and they were all fawning over Ethan.  He loved it.  It will be interesting to see if ten years from now the girls will still give him attention (they won’t) and if he will still like it (he will).  🙂

{Week 16}

April 23, 2012

Little Bro

The girls never liked tummy time, but Ethan seems to tolerate it more.  It may have something to do with the fact that he has two big sisters who like to entertain him while he’s on the floor!

{Week 15}

April 18, 2012

Snack Picnic

The girls wanted to have their snacks while watching a show one day, so I said we’ve have a snack picnic.  I cut up apples and put them in bowls along with some pretzels and cheese sticks.  It was certainly a little feast, although from the looks of this picture they were much more interested in the TV!

{Week 14}

April 8, 2012

Clare, Author

She is following in her big sister’s footsteps and becoming an author and illustrator.  On this particular day she was making a My Little Pony book, so while Ethan napped we sat down and colored some ponies.  I love having one-on-one time with my little-but-big girl!
